I love the opportunity to get out in the community for various charities. Here are some pics from the fun events I’ve attended. I feel that in life it’s a family affair and have managed to get my kids and wife in on the fun as well.
Eric Church live at the Crystal Ballroom
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society “Light The Night Walk 2008″
It was a cold wet evening when we took to the streets to raise money. Mike Turner and I solicited for people to be members of our team and had a great turn out. My daughter Shelby walked and enjoyed the race car! Here’s a few pics of the fun, for a good cause!

Sleep Country Foster Kids “Pajama Bowl 2008″
This is always such a fun event. One that I’ve been involved in for years. We solicit on the air for team members and raise money at the same time. I like to turn my fund raising into fun! An on-air auction seems to do the trick. I raised the most for KLTH this year with $650.00. We managed to take 3rd overall in the Portland Market. The pillow was nice, I donated mine to the foster kids. Yes, that’s Mark Lindsay!!!
American Heart Association Heart Walk
While walking isn’t my specialty, I still like being part of the crew. I volunteer every year to get the walkers started with fun and games in the East Bank Esplanade’ of the Willamette River. When they come back to the start I am there waiting with more fun and games. Here’s the Portland Beavers mascot “Lucky” and I.

Hot July Nights 2008
This is an annual outdoor concert series that happens in downtown Vancouver, WA. I have been the guy to introduce the bands almost every year for the last 8. I have also been requested to voice, produce the commercials every year. This year was special as we had one of the security guards decide to cut his hair for “Locks of Love”. He came to me with an idea to have the shirt signed by the bands and then do a silent auction at the information counter. I said…let’s do an auction. Let’s cut your hair on stage then do an auction when the hairdo is complete! About an hour later, I went on stage and explained what we were about to do. $360.00 later one signed shirt is handed over and hair plus a donation is made to “Locks of Love”. Here’s the highest bidder and a very fine haircut!

Mark Lindsay’s Rock N Roll Cafe’
KLTH had a radio station in the restaurant. It was really great doing shows there with Mark while I shared producer duties. Shelby, my oldest daughter wants to be on the radio some day!

Hi Jeff,
I’m glad to see you are still reaching out to the public. I love hearing about the kids. How they grow!
Thanks for using my Pajama Bowl photo of you in the rainbow wig and Mark in the shades. That was a fun time.
I miss hearing both of you guys on the air — together. You made a great team.
