From Monday July 26 through Friday July 30th, I had the honor of hosting the morning show on KUPL for Scott Simon of Simon in the morning.  Please keep in mind while listening to the air check that I am only on the air 1 or 2 times per week.  The morning show is full of content, contest and listener interaction.  Every edited phone call, interview and contest was edited and produced by me along with running the board.  Here is a few breaks for you to enjoy.  Check out the air checks tab and scopes tab for more audio from the show.  The Scopes tab contains every break with traffic, news, spots and songs edited out.

Josh Turner Interview

Miranda was great before the show and after.  I stood the whole show…which doesn’t happen very often.  I guess sitting row Z, where everyone is standing forces you to do that.  I heard some grumblings after the show from others who weren’t to excited to stand the whole show.  I didn’t mind and either did Hannah.  She had the opportunity that most concert goers don’t get…a chance to meet Miranda.

I spent 2 weeks filling in for the morning show producer and now starting tomorrow, I get to be the lead on the morning show.  5 days of doing what I LOVE to do.

Yesterday I was at our company “Mandatory Day Of Fun” and someone asked me if I saw the video yet?  I hadn’t and apparently I made the video!  Last guy hacking away at the t-box.  I have another post here on the site about the event with a few pictures.  Seeing the video reminded me of how fun the day was.

The soldiers give EVERYTHING for us and it’s nice to be able to go have fun with the guys before they head back into harms way.  Please remember to thank a service person when you see them and don’t forget to VOTE!

I just loved these ladies!  Getting geared up is part of the fun.  I think I may have convinced them to be part of the Sexy Tractor Brigade at KUPL.  Where we show up at parades in small towns on tractors!  Might as well have some sexy ladies to ride shotgun!

Memorial Day Weekend and I was really taking the time to honor the day.  I tire of listening to jocks who just lay out there with “happy memorial day weekend” and no substance.  I brought one to one content all 3 days this weekend.  I had the honor of hosting Sat. 2-7pm, Sun. 11-4pm and Monday 6-10am.  We got listeners in for a trip to Washington DC to see Zac Brown Band live along with the latest CD from the guys who really take time at every show to honor our service members who have served and are serving today.  Check out every break from the 3 days on the Scopes Tab.

Here’s myself and my first time shooting, along with my crew from KUPL!

A great event to benefit The Boy Scout’s of America.  The 8th Annual event raises money to help these kids learn about gun safety and the thrill of hunting and survival.  I was a boy scout in my youth and really cherish the moments I spent out in the outdoors, something I do today with my kids.

Another fun couple days playing on the radio. Keola went to LA on Friday so I hosted the afternoon show on a Free Ticket Friday!  Then on Saturday, handed out more tickets.  I just love making people happy!   Here is short audio from both days.  Be sure to check out the Scopes tab to listen to the whole show unedited…commercials and songs removed.  I’m ready and available to rock your PPM numbers!
