About Me

I’m Jeff Thomas and I am the main fill in guy at KUPL FM (Country) in Portland, OR.  since December of 2009.  Before a 6 month break I was the morning show host of KLTH in Portland.  Before landing the morning gig on KLTH, I was the night guy for two and a half years, doing production, fill in key day parts on both KLTH and KUPL, along with anything else Dennis Constantine & John Paul, my program director’s requested.  You’ll also notice a long tenure with CBS radio as I have been on several stations over the last 9 years.  I have successfully entertained adult listeners on Classic Hits formats like “Super Hits of the 60’s and 70’s”, “The 80’s and More” & “New Country”.

I excel at executing the on location broadcast.  I’ve taken part in radio thons for The Portland Rescue Mission, all day broadcasts for te Truck Load of Coats, Hospice luncheons and led many a walk for various charities.  Production is something I excel at as well.  From producing hour long artist specials to spec spots, I like the creating.

I enjoy keeping listeners up to date with my life online through station website blogs, podcasts and facebook.  In my spare time I like to use it wisely!  I volunteer at our church, my oldest daughter’s school and get out doors.

I mentioned my daughter, I actually have two girls and a son.  My wife and I have been married for 9 years and are amazed daily at the joy we have in our children.

My family is ready for the next adventure.  Radio is something I am passionate about and my wife is my number one fan.  She is willing and ready to travel and so am I!  So bring the next adventure our way…call 360-241-0347.
